Sony announced that 12 games would be removed from the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog in June 2024, affecting Extra and Premium subscribers. Among the titles leaving are the highly successful Grand Theft Auto V, as well as several other renowned games.
The claim was first reported by Push Square and later confirmed by Insider Gaming. The PlayStation Plus pages on both PS4 and PS5 have been updated to reflect the changes, with a list of games planned to exit the catalog for PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers.
According to the PlayStation Store's 'Last chance to pla' web page, subscribers have until June 18 to enjoy the following games:
PS Plus Extra:
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons (PS4)
DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace (PS4)
Dodgeball Academia (PS4)
Grand Theft Auto V (PS5, PS4)
Indivisible (PS4)
Monster Jam Steel Titans (PS4)
MotoGP 23 (PS5, PS4)
SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated (PS4)
The Talos Principle: Deluxe Edition (PS4)
The Wild at Heart (PS4)
Unturned (PS4)
PS Plus Premium:
Baja: Edge of Control HD (PS4)
This comes after Sony removed over 25 games from the Game Catalogue last month, including important titles like Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition and seven Final Fantasy episodes.
Members of the PlayStation Plus program should take advantage of these games before they are no longer available.
