Nintendo said that "We also want to clarify that we just announced that Nintendo Switch(OLED Model) will launch in October 2021, and have no plans for launching any other model at this time."

Price of Nintendo Switch OLED In India

In India, the Nintendo Switch OLED price will be between Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 40,000. Only one retailer will be selling the Nintendo Switch OLED in India at the time of its global launch.

According to a game store Mcube Games, they sell the White and Neon Red and Blue variant of Nintendo Switch OLED for Rs. 49,999 between October 15 to 18, 2021.

Specification Of Nintendo Switch OLED

First of all Nintendo Switch OLED comes with 7 inches big OLED screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720 (720p) than the original Switch’s LCD and a wide adjustable stand for easy viewing in tabletop mode.

Thanks to Nintendo improve improves over the original is internal storage. The Nintendo Switch OLED comes with 64 GB storage and also supports up to 2 TB Storage capacity of microSDHC or microSDXC.

Another new port added on Nintendo Switch OLED is LAN Port, you can easily play online games like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Splatoon 3 with any lag, this is a big relief for Online gaming. Nintendo said in LAN "The dock’s built-in wired LAN port allows for more stable online play when playing in TV mode, and replaces one of the three previous USB ports. This dock and the previous one are interchangeable, and either will work with Nintendo Switch (OLED model) or the Nintendo Switch console."

Nintendo also upgrades audio quality on the OLED model for a better experience while playing in handheld or tabletop mode.

Nintendo Switch OLED uses the same Joy-Cons as the old Switch is made all the more frustrating by the fact that Nintendo is pushing the handheld aspects of the system. The individual joysticks often suffer from an issue called drift, where the controller thumbstick acts as if it’s being pushed, even when it isn’t. Joy-Con drift is a serious issue, as it causes controllers to become unusable. Nintendo has faced legal troubles over Joy-Con drift, with a lawsuit being filed earlier this year over the issue.

Switch OLED has better outstanding battery life. Battery life is approximately about 4.5-9 hours and Charging time approximately 3 hours. you can play without fear of discharge.

All About Nintendo Switch OLED

The first thing I thought Nintendo Switch really need an upgrade. So it to be a nice refresh like this i thought it cool. Surprisingly, I was shocked when I see Switch OLED will only output at 1080p, just like the regular Switch. This is like a big missed opportunity for Nintendo. So Nintendo Switch OLED display will stick to the 720p output of the original Switch too, as it means existing Switch software won’t have to be upgraded. From rumor, everyone talk about OLED switch comes with 1080p and 4k resolution it seems like a dream. Right we talk about a small Nintendo switch that is very small fan may have 10 to 12 watts, you think the Nintendo Switch comes with 4k resolution like big devices PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X with a ton of power with high GPU. But come on 1080p with 4k revolution is might not like a big move from this device, but I say you can also enjoy playing games on 720p with a better experience on an OLED big screen.

In the Indian market of Console, India sales of the console have surpassed the PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S in 2020 with close to 100,000 sold by March 2021. A year prior, it was estimated that the Nintendo Switch had sold between 55,000 to 60,000 units in the nation's lifetime to date. A near 100 percent increase in a year. Nintendo Switch is an impressive sale in India. So Nintendo Switch is a super popular device around the world.

In the last 4 year's Nintendo sell around 90 Million units around the world and during their fiscal year during pandemic from march 2020 to march 2021 they sold almost 29 million units of Nintendo Switch, its was exploded selling last year.

So when Nintendo comes with a new product like Switch pro they need more chips to make new products but it's impossible right now due to the global lack of semiconductor chips, which is why PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X are delayed for restocking. Due to this reason in India and other countries offline retailers sell consoles and graphic cards at high price.

In this fourth year of Nintendo Switch you don't see any high massive in sales, In the upcoming year, you see a natural decline in sales of Console due to lack of GPU.

Another is, It's a shame that the Switch OLED Joy-Con controllers could exhibit the same drifting problem, especially as it's been an ongoing concern since 2017. Nintendo Said that "At Nintendo, we take great pride in creating quality products and we are continuously making improvements to them. We are aware of reports that some Joy-Con controllers have not responded correctly. We want our consumers to have fun with Nintendo Switch, and if anything falls short of this goal we always encourage them to visit http://support.nintendo.com so we can help."

I think is gonna be cool with an OLED panel on handled devices with impressive storage of 64 GB and LAN port is really nice, But the truth is they don't need SOC right now.

Overall, With the insane popularity of the Nintendo Switch, it's going to be massive when OLED model is Release.
