Pearl Abyss has introduced a new way for players to experience Crimson Desert without downloading the game. The free demo is now available on Twitch, which uses cloud streaming to deliver the game directly to your browser.
The Crimson Desert demo lasts 20 minutes, so don't worry about missing out. When the timer runs out, you can go back to the Twitch page and begin another session.
How to Start the Crimson Desert Twitch Demo
Getting into the demo only takes a few steps:
Open the Crimson Desert demo page on Twitch and sign in with your Twitch account.
Confirm the age prompt that appears when the page loads.
You will see two options: purchase the game and start the demo. Choose a demo option.
Accept the required age consent and then select Start Demo again.
Wait a moment while Twitch connects you to the cloud-streamed game.
When prompted, press and hold the Spacebar for a few seconds to begin gameplay.
Begin playing and get the most out of your 20-minute session.
The demo can be played with either a keyboard and mouse or a controller.
What Does the Crimson Desert Demo Include?
The Crimson Desert demo does not begin at the beginning of the game. Instead, players are placed in a later stage of the adventure, where they can play as Kliff, Damiane, or Oonga. Their skill trees are already well-developed, allowing players to practice stronger abilities and combat.
The demo uses Amazon GameLift Streams, so players do not need to download or install the game. Everything runs through the cloud and is delivered directly to the browser. Each session lasts 20 minutes before automatically ending.
If you want to play again, just reload the Crimson Desert demo page on Twitch and start a new session. This makes the free trial a convenient option for players who want to try out the game's combat and world before deciding whether to buy the full version.
