EA Sports launch First Trailer for F1 24 Game with Release Date Revealed

Formula 1 fans are in for a treat as Electronic Arts announced the early release of F1 24, the next installment in the official game series. F1 24 will be released on May 31, 2024, for the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC, via the EA App, Epic Games Store, and Steam.

While the specific features of F1 24 are yet to be revealed, it is certain to incorporate the ten teams, 20 drivers, and 24 circuits of the 2024 Formula One World Championship. Senior creative director Lee Mather teases exciting new features, saying,

"We're bringing players an overhauled Career mode, a new EA Sports Dynamic Handling System, and so much more."

Before the season's first race, F1 23 gamers who pre-order the F1 24 Champions Edition by April 24 will get distinct access to Time Trial challenges with the new Alpine, Haas, McLaren, and Williams 2024 team cars.

Players may pre-order the F1 24 Champions Edition and save 15% until May 31 if they own F1 2021, F1 22, or F1 23. They will also receive the 2023 F1 esports liveries from McLaren and Alpine, which will be carried over to F1 24. According to Lee Mather, F1 23 players will have an instant link to the 2024 season, which will enable them to interact with their preferred teams prior to the first Lights Out of the season.

The complete reveal is expected soon, but F1 24 Champions Edition buyers will receive exclusive F1 23 goodies. Two waves of 2024 content will be added to F1 23 by EA, allowing users to experience the new cars in time trial challenges up to three months ahead of schedule. In addition to access starting on May 28, pre-orders for the Champions Edition also include 18,000 Pitcoin, two new F1 "Icons," and a "Bumper Pack" for F1 World. On the other hand, pre-orders for the Standard Edition come with a bonus VIP Podium Pass in addition to an F1 World "Starter Pack" and 5,000 Pitcoin.

There have been ups and downs in Codemasters' journey, including layoffs in December after its recent titles, F1 2023 and EA Sports WRC, which were released in June and November of 2023, respectively, were said to have had difficult market performances. In spite of this, EA's $1.2 billion acquisition of Codemasters in 2021—which surpassed a previous offer from Rockstar owner Take-Two—remains a noteworthy milestone in the gaming industry.
