This package, which was first introduced and released on the PlayStation 5 in late 2023, includes both the base Horizon Forbidden West game and its massive Burning Shores expansion.

Available for pre-purchase on Steam and the Epic Games Store at a price of $59.99 / £49.99, early buyers will be treated to exclusive bonus content, including the Blacktide Outfit and Blacktide Bow, available solely through pre-purchase. Additionally, linking your Steam account to the PlayStation Network unlocks the Nora Legacy Outfit and Nora Spear. Two special outfits (Carja Behemoth Elite and Nora Thunder Elite) and two special weapons (Carja Behemoth Short Bow and Nora Thunder Sling) are also part of the pre-purchase package.

Players can also take advantage of an in-game Apex Clawstrider Machine Strike Piece, unique Photo Mode positions, and face paint as extra benefits. An in-game Resources Pack with travel packs, potions, and ammunition is also available.

The PC version of Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition was created by Nixxes Software in association with the original developer Guerrilla Games. This edition promises an amazing visual experience with unlocked frame rates, customisable graphics settings, and a plethora of performance-enhancing technologies like AMD FSR, Intel XeSS, and NVIDIA DLSS 3 upscaling and frame generation. Rapid PC loading times are provided by DirectStorage, while NVIDIA DLAA is available for those with high-end hardware to improve images.

Julian Huijbregts, online community specialist at Nixxes, explained,

“With ultra-wide support, you'll be able to take in the vistas in a panoramic view. Gameplay is supported in 21:9 ultra-wide, 32:9 super ultra-wide, and even 48:9 resolutions with compatibility for triple-monitor setups. Fully customizable mouse and keyboard controls allow you to traverse the Forbidden West and battle ferocious machines on your PC in a way that suits you best. The game also boasts extensive controller support, including Steam Input support for remapping and customization of your preferred peripherals.”

Sony has also released a PC features trailer to give players an idea of the improved experience they can expect in the Forbidden West and to give them a sneak peak at the features. Beginning on March 21, 2024, don't pass up the opportunity to explore this exciting universe on your PC.
