According to Sony's latest financial data revealed on October 30, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 has swung its way into gaming history, selling an amazing five million copies in just 11 days after its October 20 launch.

This achievement establishes Spider-Man 2 as the fastest-selling PlayStation Studios game of all time, surpassing its predecessor's record-breaking start. Within the first 24 hours, the game attracted 2.5 million players worldwide, demonstrating the immense popularity of the heroic epic.

Sony's previous "fastest-selling" title belonged to God of War: Ragnarök, which sold 5.1 million copies in its first week. Specific data for the first 24 hours, however, were not provided.
