Nintendo has officially announced that the next Nintendo Direct live stream will occur on Tuesday, June 18. The event is slated to start at 7am PT / 10am ET / 3pm BST / 4pm CEST and will run for around 40 minutes.
This highly anticipated event will focus on games slated to be released in the latter half of 2024, providing fans with a preview of Nintendo's amazing roster for the remainder of the year.
However, Nintendo has guaranteed that there will be no discussion of the Nintendo Switch's successor at this event. Despite significant anticipation, the firm has reiterated that the event will focus primarily on upcoming game releases.
Nintendo recently informed fans that its next system will be unveiled this fiscal year, with an April 2025 deadline. This comes after Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa stated, related the company's recent financial results, that while a Nintendo Direct would take place in June, no information about the future console would be revealed.
As the Nintendo Switch enters its seventh year on the market, excitement is building for its successor, which is slated to be released early next year. Fans will have to keep tuned for additional information on the next generation of Nintendo.
