Nintendo has released an exciting trailer for their upcoming reboot of Mario vs.Donkey Kong. Reimagined from the 2004 classic on the Game Boy Advance, Mario vs.Donkey Kong is slated for release on February 16 on the Nintendo Switch platform. It appears to be an enjoyable blend of difficult puzzles and 2D platforming.
The latest trailer, which debuted on Thursday shows off an extensive gameplay experience with more than 130 levels as well as the addition of a Two-Player Mode to improve multiplayer engagement.
The game takes on a new dimension with the inclusion of Merry Mini-Land and Slippery Summit as completely new settings in the remake. Nintendo stresses that these realms have "new enemies and level themes with distinct play mechanics," guaranteeing an engaging and unique experience for players of all skill levels.
As they go through the game, players will be able to achieve Plus Levels and Expert Levels in addition to a Time Attack component that will test their talents even more. The game is now easier for novice players thanks to the addition of the Casual difficulty, which aims to appeal to a wider market.
In 1994, Mario vs. Donkey Kong, a Game Boy version of the original Donkey Kong debuted, showing Mario's expanded move set. Eventually, the company released six more Mario vs. Donkey Kong games, the majority of which featured puzzle-solving components and a few that were similar of the first Lemmings game.
The last game in the series, Mini Mario & Friends: Amiibo Challenge, was exclusively available through the Wii U and 3DS eShop, hence it is currently unavailable. As excitement for the Nintendo Switch release rises, fans are eager to return to the well-known world of Mario vs. Donkey Kong, which blends popular elements with exciting new features.
