Plants vs. Zombies 3: Welcome to Zomburbia the much awaited game is now being soft launched by Electronic Arts and PopCap Studios. Players in the UK, Netherlands, Australia, and the Philippines may now access an advanced version of the sequel on iOS and Android devices, giving them an exclusive look before the game's worldwide release later this year.

Plants vs. Zombies 3, according to PopCap, adds new "puzzle-adventure" features while keeping the series' cherished tower defence gameplay. The experience promises to go deeper into strategic play while being easily accessible, according to the makers.

The game stands out for having a strong emphasis on narrative. With its episodic story that immerses players in several neighbourhoods, Plants vs. undead 3 challenges players to strategically deploy both new and familiar plants to defeat waves of undead. PopCap plans to improve the player experience overall by adding additional characters and story to the game's environment during the soft launch phase, as well as improving the combat mechanics.

Plants vs. Zombies 3 was first announced by Electronic Arts in 2019 and made available in pre-alpha via the Google Play store.

This most recent entry comes after the 2013 smash hit Plants vs. Zombies 2: It's About Time and the 2019 release of the class-based shooter Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville, which featured a gameplay style evocative of the Garden Warfare spin-offs. The highly anticipated Plants vs. Zombies 3 is expected to further the heritage of the brand with its inventive gameplay and gripping story.
