Sony has officially revealed the PlayStation Plus Essential free games for August 2026, which will include three exciting titles that subscribers can download for free. This month's lineup includes the smash hit Dying Light 2: Stay Human - Reloaded Edition, the day-one multiplayer adventure Big Walk, and the critically acclaimed indie horror game Signalis.
All three games will be available for PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra, and Premium members from August 4 to August 31, 2026.
The lineup is led by Dying Light 2: Stay Human - Reloaded Edition for PS5 and PS4. Techland's open-world action game brings players to a dangerous post-apocalyptic city where zombies and hostile survivors battle for control. The Reloaded Edition offers significant gameplay upgrades, making it the definitive version for newcomers.
Sony is also releasing Big Walk, a brand-new cooperative adventure, on PlayStation Plus on day one. The game, which is only available for the PlayStation 5, encourages players to collaborate, explore, and solve challenges in a colorful open world. Signalis, an award-winning survival horror game for the PlayStation 4, completes the August lineup.
