CD Project Red has announced the next installment in the Witcher series, and the title in the series since The Witcher 3 was released in 2015. CD Project Red confirms that a new Witcher game uses Unreal Engine 5. CD Projekt Red will be switching from its existing REDengine which was being used for over a decade. However, there was no word as to whether Geralt would star in the game but the medallion in this image on the above tweet does similar to Geralt wolf medallion. At this point, no further details regarding the game such as a development time frame or release date.
