As the highly anticipated release date of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 approaches on November 10, Activision is giving fans a sneak peek at what's in store. Activision has just released a thrilling teaser movie showcasing a sneak look at the brand-new Warzone map for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 to build up enthusiasm for the upcomingCOD Next event. The gaming community is excited as they await the full announcement later this week.

The publisher's teaser graphic shows a port area embellished with multiple cranes and a slew of shipping containers. A sprawling cityscape with a towering building still under construction can be seen in the background.

This exciting image is only a taste of what's to come, and gamers are eagerly expecting further information to shed light on the map's complexities. The new Warzone map will be released as part of the battle royale game's integration with the coming Modern Warfare 3 release, promising an exciting and unique gaming experience.

The Warzone teaser image was released ahead of the Call of Duty: Next live broadcast event, which is set to take place on October 5 at 9 a.m. PT / 12 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. BST. While the image itself doesn't reveal much, eagle-eyed fans have recognised significant characteristics like the lake, the bustling port with shipping containers, and rising cranes—all of which are nods to Warzone's iconic sites of interest. Previous Call of Duty battle royale maps with similar port locations include Al Mazrah, Ashika Island, Caldera, Rebirth Island, and Verdansk.

The image also suggests a large cityscape in the background, providing plenty of verticality for players eager to put their sniping talents to the test on this new terrain. A mystery item can be seen lingering in the sky in the top-right area of the image. While it's tough to tell from afar, rumours abound about anything from the return of Warzone's redeploy drones to totally new game-changing aspects.

The Call of Duty Next live stream event is scheduled to highlight not only Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer modes, including the highly anticipated Zombies game, but also new Call of Duty Warzone content and an early glimpse at Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile.

Activision has also published a video promoting Modern Warfare 3's new weapon customization options in an effort to keep fans interested. These "Aftermarket Parts" upgrades, dubbed "Aftermarket Parts," aim to change how players interact with their firearms. Conversion Kits, which are part of Aftermarket Parts, will allow players to completely reconfigure their weapons. These adjustments, according to Sledgehammer Games' systems designer Nick Carraro, are comparable to "remixes for the guns" and create a new dimension for players to engage with their weaponry.

The design director, Zach Hodson, goes even farther, claiming that Aftermarket Parts can transform firearms into something almost wholly new, boasting powerful and significant enhancements that go beyond what standard attachments can offer.

The first of two Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer beta weekends is due to begin on October 6, and excitement is at an all-time high. Gamers on the PS4 and PS5 will be the only ones able to participate.

With its November 10 release date rapidly approaching, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is preparing to be a direct successor to the immensely successful Modern Warfare 2. This installment, created by Sledgehammer Games in partnership with Infinity Ward and Treyarch for its Zombies mode, promises to deliver an exciting and immersive gaming experience that fans of the franchise will not want to miss.
