In Black Myth: Wukong, Chapter 2 takes you to the creepy Fright Cliff location, where you can find a hidden boss by gathering six Buddha's Eyeballs separated across the area. These Eyeballs are required to unlock secret items that will be useful later in the game. This guide will lead you through the locations of all six Buddha's Eyeballs and how to use them to defeat the hidden boss.
Finding All Buddha's Eyeballs in Black Myth: Wukong
Buddha’s Eyeball 1
The first Buddha's Eyeball appears toward the beginning of Fright Cliff. After passing through Sandgate Village and fighting the King of Flowing Sands and the Second Prince, you will reach Fright Cliff. As you approach the hill toward the Squall Hideout Keeper's Shrine, you'll come upon a Buddha Head statue on your right with blazing yellow eyes. Interact with it to take out the first Buddha's Eyeball.
Buddha’s Eyeball 2
Take the right road from Squall Hideout to Keeper's Shrine. On your left, there are steps that lead to a distant wooden structure. Follow this path to defeat the enenies guarding the place. Climb the steps to the top of the structure, where you'll find the second Buddha Head and the next Eyeball.
Buddha’s Eyeball 3
Begin again at the Squall Hideout Shrine and follow the left path until you reach a darker region. Continue on until you come to a statue of a sat guy. Nearby, on the left, is another Buddha Head defended by a Poisestone enemy. Defeat the adversary and get the third Buddha's Eyeball.
Buddha’s Eyeball 4
The fourth Buddha's Eyeball is near the third one. From the Squall Hideout Shrine, take the right route and continue along the cliffside. As you reach the next shrine, look for a statue head leaning against the rock to your left. Interact with it to get the fourth Eyeball.
Buddha’s Eyeball 5
The fifth Eyeball is found inside Fright Cliff's primary cave. Follow your steps and go the opposite way through the cave. You'll see a wide opening next to a body of water, which leads to Rockrest Flat. Follow the higher road, killing fungal enemies along the way, until you reach the Mother of Stone. Look for a sunlight opening on the right, and just outside, you'll notice the Buddha Head with the fifth Eyeball.
Buddha’s Eyeball 6
The sixth and final Eyeball is located to the left of the Rockrest Flat Shrine. As you leave the shrine, turn left and you'll see the Buddha Head lying along the rock wall.
Using the Buddha’s Eyeballs to Unlock the Secret Bossin Black Myth: Wukong
After collecting all six Buddha's Eyeballs, proceed to the Stone Vanguard boss arena. Defeat the Stone Vanguard and return to the arena with all six Eyeballs. Look for a big boulder on the left side of the room. Interact with it and choose "deliver" to put in the Buddha's Eyeballs. This will bring back the boulder as the secret boss, Shigandang, a huge stone monster.
Defeating Shigandang will award you with two unique items: the Heart of Stone, which is used to build the Cloud-Pattern Stone Staff weapon, and the Skandha of Feeling, a critical item that is part of a bigger set needed for later levels in Black Myth: Wukong. You'll get some essential items to help you progress in the game.
