Call of Duty enthusiasts are expressing significant dissatisfaction with two newly added Operator skins in Modern Warfare II and Warzone, allowing Gustavo Rodriguez to transform into a bipedal, realistic cat.

According to Dexerto's report, the "Whisker Tango" bundle, priced at 2,400 CoD points (equivalent to £16.79 in the UK), includes stickers, an emblem, weapon charm, vinyl, vehicle skin, a couple of weapon blueprints, and a free self-revive and extra operator slot for DMZ. However, it's the "Sgt. Pspsps" and "Sgt. Sprinkles" Operator skins that have upset some fans. On one hand, seeing a cat similar to the one from the game "Stray" engaging in violence is amusing. Nevertheless, many players argue that the addition of these feline characters has compromised the realism that was once a hallmark of CoD games.

Users on Reddit have expressed their dissatisfaction. "Remember how they marketed this game as 'the most realistic CoD of all time?' Denzlegacy wrote, "Yeah..." "[What the f**k] happened to this game?" inquired Createdrandom81. ArcadiousXvX said, "I can't believe this is what CoD has become."

It's worth noting, though, that this deviation from reality isn't the first for the Call of Duty series. Because of a crossover with "The Boys," the game already has components such as blasting lasers from your eyes to melt opponent players. There have also been crossovers with non-realistic media in the past, such as "Attack on Titan."

Despite the criticism, there are still plenty of fans who adore the CoD cats for their cuteness and fantastic names. Ultimately, whether the skins are worth 2,400 CoD points is a personal decision for each player.
