GOW :Ragnarok is still planned for 2022 release, a developer at Santa Monica Studio has confirmed. Recently posted on Twitter that “GOW Ragnarok comes out this year" by Blue Owlz: Medic.
GOW is an second, and final part of Norse saga. This has led some concerns that the game could be facing a further delay that would see it slip into 2023, but it appears these concerns are unnecessary.
It’s unclear what prompted the tweet, but community managers often get hounded on social media so it’s possible that the developer wanted to put an end to speculations.
After the incredible success of GOW, fans were extremely eager for the sequel, and they were answered in 2020 during the PlayStation 5 showcase, where Santa Monica officially unveiled GOW Ragnarok for a 2021 release date, however, the game was delayed to 2022.
