Create Your Character

At the start of Dragon's Dogma 2, players can create their own unique character. Dive into the customization choices to personalize your Arisen, from facial features to body.

Reach Vernworth

As you go through the main storyline, you'll eventually reach Vernworth, the first large village. Clovis's Barberie allows you to further customize your character's appearance. However, keep in mind that these changes come with a cost.

Customize Your Appearance

Inside Clovis' Barberie, you can make the following changes.

  • Hairstyle for 10,000 gold

  • Makeup for 10,000 gold

  • Markings/tattoos for 10,000 gold

  • Bundle changes (hairstyle, makeup, markings) for 25,000 gold

Note: Gold is a key resource in Dragon's Dogma 2, so use it wisely to balance your character's aesthetics with battle preparation.

Consider Your Choices

While there are many customization choices available, keep in mind that these modifications are only superficial. Clovis's Barberie does not allow you to change fundamental characteristics like as height or body type.

Explore Advanced Customization

The Art of Metamorphosis is used for more significant modifications, such as changing your character's body. This one-time use item can be obtained using Rift Crystals (RC) or as a DLC purchase.

Changing Your Main Pawn's Appearance

Your elementary pawn is another character that you can customize. To gain access to these options, go to a pawn shop, such as one near the Grand Riftstone of Vermund in Vernworth.

Use Rift Crystals (RC)

Unlike gold, main pawn modification requires Rift Crystals. Earn RC by doing various actions in the game, such as exploring dungeons, supporting other players, and completing quests.

Purchase the Art of Metamorphosis

Invest 500 RC in the Art of Metamorphosis to change your primary pawn's look. Remember that these goods are only used once, so select when and how you use them carefully.

Further Customization Across Settlements

Don't be worried if you've used up all of your Vernworth resources. Major settlements, such as Bakbattahl, also provide the Art of Metamorphosis via their local pawn guilds.

In Dragon's Dogma 2, you can freely customize your Arisen or primary pawn. Create people who reflect your ideas and immerse yourself in a realm where every aspect reflects your style.
