How to Conserve Ammo in Resident Evil Requiem

How to Conserve Ammo in Resident Evil Requiem

Resident Evil Requiem makes ammo very limited, especially in the early hours. If you waste bullets, you’ll struggle later. Here are the most important tips you need to know.

How to Conserve Ammo in Resident Evil Requiem

1. Aim Carefully

Always aim for the head for higher damage or the legs to stagger enemies and run past them. Do not panic shoot. Every bullet matters.

2. Avoid Fights When Possible

If the game does not lock you in a room, try to sneak around enemies or run past staggered zombies. Not every enemy needs to die.

3. Use Knives Wisely

Knives are valuable. Don’t waste them escaping every grab. Use them for controlled melee attacks, and recycle nearly broken knives into scrap for crafting if needed.

4. Get the Better Pistol Early

Find the stronger S&S pistol in the West Wing. It deals more damage and holds more bullets, helping you defeat enemies with fewer shots.

5. Craft Ammo Smartly

After unlocking the Blood Collector, combine infected blood and scrap to craft bullets. Only craft when necessary and always search combat areas for materials.

6. Buy the Stabilizer Upgrade

Use Antique Coins to get the Stabilizer. It improves accuracy and increases damage, meaning fewer missed shots and fewer bullets used per enemy.

7. Be Careful with Strong Enemies

Blister Heads absorb many bullets. Avoid them if possible, use special injectors, or rely on the powerful Requiem weapon instead of wasting regular pistol ammo.

8. Use Melee as Leon

Leon S. Kennedy can use his hatchet for powerful finishers. It helps save ammo and prevents enemies from getting back up.

Saving ammunition in Resident Evil Requiem requires staying calm and making sound decisions. Aim carefully rather than shooting quickly, avoid unnecessary fights, upgrade your weapons early on, and craft bullets only when absolutely necessary. Use melee attacks whenever possible to save bullets, and don't waste ammunition on enemies you can easily avoid. If you remain patient and think before each shot, you will live much longer and handle more difficult situations with confidence.
