Finding Gerlinde in Pilgrim's Perch
Free Gerlinde
To access the lower floors of the mine, go to Pilgrim's Perch and use a lift. It is next to the Vestige of Blind Agatha.
Important Note: As you exit the lift, get ready for battle.
Hounds belong to the opponents you'll run into as soon as you exit the lift. Eliminate rid of these enemies to open the way.
Important Note: One of the enemies can drop the Prison Cell Key as a dropped item, so keep a look out for it.
Go visit a woman named Gerlinde who is being held hostage behind bars once you have obtained the Prison Cell Key. She will ask you to release her using the Prison Key if you talk to her and use all of her conversational options.
Important Note:To continue the quest, you must give Gerlinde the key.
Go to the next checkpoint to rest and save your progress after you've free Gerlinde.
Important Note: Make sure the Pilgrim's Perch key is in your inventory because you'll require it later.
Unlocking the Blacksmith
Go to the Skyrest Bridge, then turn right into the corridor as it is indicated.
Important Note: As you make your way to the blacksmith, be on the lookout for random threats.
Use the stairs to reach Gerlinde's blacksmithing workshop, which is located in a small room.

The "Sparky's Tablets" side quest can be started by talking to Gerlinde, who will then mention her search for ancient information written on tablets.
