Life on Coral Island is super chill and relaxing, but you'll still need some cash to keep up that lifestyle. As you move forward in the game, you'll naturally need more money to expand your land and make cool upgrades.
Farming is the main way to earn cash on Coral Island, but there are plenty of other ways to boost your bank account. This guide will show you some fun ways to make more money so you can create the farm, house, and life you've always wanted.
Collect Everything in Coral Island
If you're a serious RPG player, you know the drill: collect everything and don't toss anything that can be sold. Coral Island is packed with interesting and potentially valuable stuff. Even scraps can be useful. If you love exploring and foraging, making money here will be a breeze.
Get into the habit of foraging while you wander around the island. Check out everything you come across. Even if something seems like it has low value, you can still make a profit since it didn't cost you anything.
Tip: Try to upgrade your inventory early in the game. A bigger inventory is super helpful for making money. You won't have to worry about carrying too much and having to ditch stuff when you find something valuable.
Explore Mines For Good Loot
Mines might be a bit risky, but they've got some awesome loot. As you play, you'll end up exploring different mines. These places have all sorts of important resources. Some are great for crafting or upgrading your tools, while others can make you a little profit.
When you head to the mines for metal ores, make sure to explore thoroughly for extra loot. The deeper you go, the more enemies you'll face, but it's worth it because the resources down there are more valuable.
Collect Geodes
Collecting geodes is another fun and profitable way to make money on Coral Island. You can find geodes in the Caverns, and they have different artifacts inside. You might find something that needs to be donated to the museum or a rare gem. Both can be sold for a nice sum.
Even though not everything inside a geode is valuable, it's a good way to spend a rainy day in the mine. If you're already there and have some time, collect a bunch of geodes. You might find something worthwhile.
Catch Fish & Insects
One of the easiest and quickest ways to make money on Coral Island is by catching fish and insects. Since the game is set on a tropical island, these creatures are everywhere.
It's a good idea to donate your first catch of any insect or fish to the museum, and the second one can be offered at the Temple. After that, you can sell the rest for a solid profit.
You don't have to go all out looking for rare insects or fish. While they do sell for more, they can be tough to find and catch.
You can start catching bugs right on your farm. Just dig around with your hoe, and you might find some cool stuff. Even common bugs like Ground Beetles can earn you up to 45 coins each. So, if you dig up 32 of them in a day, you can sell them for a whopping 1,440 Coins.
Complete Band Of Smiles Quests
The Band of Smiles is a secret group of adventurers on Coral Island. They're pretty selective, but if you're lucky, you can pass their entrance test and join.
Once you're in, you'll have access to their private job boards, which list odd jobs for adventurers. The main goal of B.O.S. is to keep the mines and surrounding areas safe from monsters and wild animals.

The jobs mostly involve collecting different items from various mines. To finish these quests, you'll need to explore the mines and nearby areas and take down some monsters. It's a fun way to improve your combat skills now and then and make some good money.

Take On Tasks From Townsfolk
You can pick up specific tasks posted by Starlet Town locals to earn money in Coral Island. These tasks are listed on the wooden bulletin board outside Sam’s General Store. If you see an exclamation mark on the board as you walk by, it means there's a job up for grabs. These jobs change from time to time.
Some locals might ask you to grow a certain crop, while others could need urgent help, like delivering an item or completing a task. Finishing these tasks will boost your heart points with the person who gave it, and you'll also earn some coins for your efforts.
Grow High-Value Crops/Plants
Since Coral Island is mainly a farming simulation, focusing on your farm can bring in a lot of cash.
Instead of going for quick-growing, low-maintenance crops, think about focusing on high-value crops or plants. These might take more work, but they give excellent returns when sold. Some top high-value crops in Coral Island include Strawberries, Pineapple, Bok Choy, Rice, Melons, and Hot Peppers.
Plus, you can grow certain quick-yield crops that can be planted multiple times each month. For example, Soybean can be planted up to five times a month. Even better, Sugarcane can be grown up to 24 times monthly.
While these crops might not offer high value right away, they can be grown and sold multiple times each month, ensuring a steady cash flow.
Win Festival Activities And Mini-Games
Festivals are a great chance to meet a bunch of characters, join in fun activities, and earn quick money. Though there aren't many, festivals in Coral Island have a variety of exciting activities and mini-games. Some are just for fun, offering a chance to win certain items (sometimes rare), but most festivals have at least one main event that gives a nice amount of coins to the winner.
A fun example is the Cherry Blossom Potluck festival. The main event here is the sack race among the townsfolk. You can join this race and win an awesome 1000 coins if you come in first. This not only lets you earn easy cash but also ensures you have a blast.
