Nintendo has announced a new Game Trial for EA Sports FC 26 which provides Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 players free access to the entire game from June 18 to June 24. Users who have an active Nintendo Switch Online membership can take advantage of this offer.
Unlike a demo, the Game Trial includes the full version of EA Sports FC 26, allowing players to explore all major modes and features without restriction. Progress made during the trial will be saved and carried over if players purchase the game after the event has ended.
EA Sports FC 26 introduces a number of new features, including an international tournament mode with 48 national teams, new stadiums, updated gameplay mechanics based on community feedback, and expanded Career Mode options with football icons and heroes. Football Ultimate Team also gets new Live Events, tournaments, and updates to the Rivals and Champions modes.
Key Highlights of EA Sports FC 26 Free Trial
Free to Play: Nintendo Switch Online members can play the game for free from June 18 to June 24.
Full Game Access: Players can enjoy the complete game with no restrictions during the trial period.
Keep Your Progress: Any progress made during the trial will carry over if you buy the game later.
48 National Teams: Compete in a new international tournament mode featuring 48 national teams.
20,000+ Real Players: Play with thousands of licensed footballers from top leagues around the world.
Improved Ultimate Team: Take part in new live events, tournaments, and updated online competitions.
Enhanced Career Mode: Experience new career features, including international ICONs and Heroes.
New Stadiums and Gameplay Updates: Enjoy fresh stadiums and gameplay improvements based on player feedback.
Nintendo has not yet announced a special eShop discount for the game, but previous Game Trials have frequently been accompanied by limited-time sales, so a price cut is possible in the coming days.
The promotion comes as interest in football grows around the world. While EA Sports FC 26 does not have the official FIFA World Cup license due to EA's separation from FIFA, the game does include licensed national teams and authentic kits. EA is currently celebrating international football with special in-game events as part of its "The World's Game" campaign.
Players who want to try EA Sports FC 26 can download the game once the trial period begins on June 18 and play until the promotion ends on June 24.
