Participants in the Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League alpha tester have been given permission by Rocksteady Studios to openly share their thoughts on the game. While the original test which took place late last year gave players access to an early component of the game, strong non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) forbade them from publicly sharing their experiences.

However, the studio has now partially removed the NDA allowing alpha testers to share their opinions and experiences with the game ahead of its predicted release next month. Although participants are still barred from sharing photographs or videos from the alpha test, they are now encouraged to participate in discussions about their experiences with the game.

This loosening of the NDA follows recent Suicide Squad previews, including one from VGC, that suggested the game might not revolutionise the superhero genre in the same way that Rocksteady's acclaimed Arkham series did.

Rocksteady remarked in response to community inquiries and rising interest in the game,

“Now that there is more news out on the game and players are asking, we’re no longer enforcing a portion of the NDA and we’re allowing players to talk about their experience from the Closed Alpha Test.”

The studio hopes to give gamers the chance to voice their thoughts on exploring Metropolis with characters such as Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, despite multiple delays, is set to be released on February 2, 2024 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam. Notably, the Epic Games Store release date for the PC version has been pushed out to March 5.

The game will initially require an internet connection in order to play. Nonetheless, Rocksteady has stated that it intends to implement an offline mode after the game's release in response to user feedback.
