Microsoft has officially revealed a striking new line of gaming accessories inspired by its upcoming racing game, Forza Horizon 6. The announcement comes shortly after early leaks hinted at the colorful designs, and fans can now get a better look at what's to come.
Forza Horizon 6 Wireless Contorller Bold Design Inspired by Japanese Racing Culture
Forza Horizon 6, set in Japan, is heavily influenced by the country's iconic car culture, as evidenced by the newly announced accessories. The limited-edition Xbox Wireless Controller has a transparent cyan-blue shell with a metallic gradient finish. Bright volt green, hot pink, and silver accents give it a bold, energetic vibe, while a metallic D-pad and textured diamond grips add style and comfort.
According to Microsoft, the design is inspired by Japan's famous Touge roads, which are winding mountain routes known as the birthplace of drifting and have become popular in street racing culture and media.
Forza Horizon 6 Matching Headset with Unique Audio Features
Along with the controller, Microsoft has released a Forza Horizon 6 Limited Edition Wireless Headset. It uses the same vibrant color palette and racing-inspired design elements, with subtle nods to pit crew visuals and track aesthetics.
A unique aspect is the custom sound effects. Actions such as turning on the headset or muting the microphone produce audio inspired by high-performance engines and the game's interface, adding an extra layer of immersion for fans.
Forza Horizon 6 Release Date, Pricing, and Compatibility
Both the controller and headset will be available on May 19, aligned with the release of Forza Horizon 6 on Xbox Series X|S and PC. Preorders are already available at major retailers.
