After months of guessing, Rockstar Games has finally confirmed the official price of GTA 6 as well as pre-order details, special editions, and exclusive launch rewards.
The highly anticipated game will launch on November 19, 2026, for 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar has announced that the GTA 6 Standard Edition will cost $79.99, while the Ultimate Edition will cost $99.99.
The announcement puts an end to rumors that GTA 6 could be first major video game to launch with a base price greater than $100. Instead, Rockstar has gone with the growing industry standard of $80 for premium AAA titles.
Pre-orders for GTA 6 will become available on June 25 at midnight local time. Players who pre-order or buy the game before November 20th will receive the Vintage Vice City Pack, a bonus set of cosmetic items inspired by the iconic neon-lit city that helped define the franchise.

Rockstar also revealed that the Ultimate Edition includes exclusive vehicles, weapons, apparel, and additional content based on the story of protagonists Jason and Lucia. Digital buyers will receive one month of GTA+, Rockstar's subscription service, and will be able to preload the game beginning November 12, one week before its release.
In another significant move, Rockstar has confirmed that physical copies of GTA 6 will not include a disc. Instead, retail boxes will include a download code, allowing players to preload the game before its release.
With pricing now official and pre-orders about to begin, the countdown to one of the most expected game launches of all time has officially begun.
