Ubisoft has finally revealed Assassin's Creed Shadows, the highly anticipated Japanese-set sequel in the popular action role-playing game franchise. The announcement includes a compelling cinematic video, a confirmed release date, and information about the dual characters in game.

Assassin's Creed Shadows introduces players to Naoe, an experienced shinobi Assassin from Iga Province, and Yasuke, a renowned African samurai. According to the game's description, set against the backdrop of the violent late Sengoku period, this amazing duo will discover their shared destiny as they usher in a new age for Japan. Players will follow the connected stories of these two captivating characters, each bringing their unique abilities and viewpoints to the vast open world of medieval Japan.

Assassin's Creed Shadows, which will be released on November 15, 2024, will allow fans to explore the enormous Japanese landscape. The game will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, PC, and Amazon Luna. Notably, this release marks a big shift, since it will be the first Assassin's Creed title in a decade that is not accessible on Xbox One or PlayStation 4.
