The F15 comes with Intel 12th generation Core I7-12700H processor offering a total of 20 threads, and 6GB Nvidia RTX 3060 graphics card to handle heavy-graphic functions like gaming and more. The laptop weighs 2.2 KG and is good enough for daily use. It features a 15.6 Inches display with 300Hz refresh rate.

So we start with design of Asus TUF 15 2022. Top of the laptop here is aluminum surface finishing with Mecha Grey or Jaegar Grey. The TUF logo has been reimagined as well, with both embossed and laser-sculpted versions. although the quality of plastic is solid with comparatively less screen and keyboard flex as compared to last year. There are vents on both the sides and the back of the laptop for cooling. This time Asus has changed notification indicator, and it's look like fan.
This time there is no problem from behind, there is a very open environment, and below of vents make some like water drop patterns. Overall, this time from back Asus TUF gave a very cool gaming look.

Asus TUF F15 equipped with 15.6 inch 1080P Full HD display or 300Hz refresh rate IPS Anti-Glare Panel. The screen also features 250 nits of brightness, which is bright for a gaming laptop. You also get 100 percent SRGB, and a 3ms response time. The display also supports Adaptive-Sync with the GPU’s output to reduce lag, minimize stuttering, and eliminate visual tearing for ultra-smooth and lifelike gameplay. So, Asus TUF F15 can also be used by creators, making it perfect for a gaming laptop.

Here on the left side of Asus TUF F15 we get one air vent, a port of power input, an RJ45 Lan port, an audio jack, you get one full-size USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port also support display port, and two USB Type-C ports, one of which offers Thunderbolt 4 support.
On the right side, all you get is a Kensington Lock and another full-size USB port.

Asus TUF F15 provide one zone keyboard means single light, but the lighting can also be customized using ASUS Armory Crate software. I found the keyboard to be quite comfortable to use both for gaming and typing. The keys offer a nice travel distance, while the spacing between the keys is adequate enough despite the addition of a numpad.
Full size trackpad given by Asus TUF F15 with custom logo on upper right of trackpad. The trackpad was quite smooth and responsive, it also supports gesture navigation.

The sound quality of Asus TUF F15 is decent when using the laptop speakers. I’d recommend using a headset for gaming as the fans can get loud and mess up the audio experience.
Asus TUF gaming laptop also comes with a 720p HD webcam for video calls, and also equipped two-way AI Noise Cancelation that works for both upstream and downstream connections.
Battery of ASUS TUF F15 2022
The Asus TUF F15 2022 has 90Wh, and comes with a 240W power adapter. We tested as a basic usage type, so I put it battery saver mode, screen brightness was 50%, and the keyboard light off. Finally we got 3.5 hours of running backup on YouTube video. The TUF also comes with MUX switch. Overall, the new TUF F15 2022 offers solid battery life for a gaming laptop.
Games Performance of ASUS TUF F15 2022
We tested four games on the TUF gaming laptop on high settings for the best performance result.
First game we tested is "CS-GO" on high settings. We getting up to 250-300 FPS, So counter strike performance had to be good, and CPU/GPU temperature are above 70.
Second game we tested is "Call of Duty Warzone" put on high setting, and DLSS put on balanced. As a expected we getting up to 90-100 FPS average like other RTX 3060 laptop gives.
Third is Apex Legends saw the machine reach the 130FPS mark on average.
Final is GTA 5 on very high setting. We getting between 105-125 FPS.
I’d recommend switching to Full HD resolution for higher frame rates. However, single-player games should be played in 1440P resolution to take advantage of the QHD display and also you can enjoy eSports, and Live streaming with panel of 300Hz . Additionally, the new MUX switch can be used directly in the software which increases performance by around five percent in games.
Verdict
Apart from build quality with its aluminum lid and military-grade certification, and performance there is really nothing to complain about here, the Asus TUF F15 gaming laptop is an excellent machine. Talk about the performance Intel Core i7 12 generation give excellent output work compared with all Intel or Ryzen processor. The MUX switch was another great addition to help boost gaming performance.
If we look the laptop price of Asus TUF F15 2022 with a price tag of Rs 1,40,990, is very expensive, I was expecting around Rs 1,25,000 because when last year TUF was launched with price tag of Rs 100,000 with RTX 3060. Asus TUF F15 2022 has Pre-loaded Windows 11 Home with lifetime validity, Pre-loaded Office Home and Student with lifetime validity, and McAfee Anti-Virus (1 Years Validity).
To conclude, I’d have to say that the Asus TUF F15 2022 is an excellent gaming laptop with outstanding performance.
