BAFTA Games Awards 2026: Full Longlist Revealed Announced

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) has officially shared the longlist for the BAFTA Games Awards 2026, featuring 64 of the year's most notable games. At the top of the list is *Clair Obscur: Expedition 33*, which has become the most well-known game with 17 spots on the longlist across major categories.
The 2026 ceremony will happen on April 17, 2026, in London, where BAFTA will once again celebrate outstanding creativity, innovation, and skill in the worldwide video game industry.
Key Dates for BAFTA Games Awards 2026
February 2026 – BAFTA members cast their votes for Best Game and British Game nominations
March 12, 2026 – The official list of nominations is announced
April 17, 2026 – The BAFTA Games Awards ceremony takes place in London
Tara Saunders, Chair of BAFTA’s Games Committee, spoke about the significance of this event, noting that the longlist;
“The BAFTA Games Awards longlists offers a fantastic opportunity to spotlight the creativity and craft shaping this year’s games, ahead of nominations on 12 March. It’s a moment to acknowledge the breadth of remarkable work recognised by our wonderful BAFTA games members - 1,700 industry professionals whose expertise and passion continue to drive the games industry forward. This list showcases a wide range of games to dive into over the holiday season, honours the teams behind these standout titles, and shines a light on the incredible skill across our whole industry.”
She also thanked more than 1,700 BAFTA members for their valuable and careful contributions.
