Castlevania Belmont’s Curse Demo Has Been Officially Announced
Castlevania fans won’t have to wait until launch day to get their hands on Belmont’s Curse. Konami has confirmed that the Castlevania Belmont’s Curse official demo will be available on October 1, 2026, giving players a two-week preview before the full release.
The demo will include the first chapter of the game and will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Depending on the platform, the download will require between 3GB and 6GB of storage.
One of the most important advantages of the demo is the save-data transfer feature. Players can carry over their demo progress into the full game when it launches. To use the feature, both the demo and the full version must be played on the same platform and under the same account.
Castlevania: Belmont's Curse's full release date is October 15, 2026. The game is set in Paris in 1499, 23 years after Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse.
This time, players will take control of Rose Belmont, Trevor Belmont's daughter and the newest member of the legendary Belmont family. Her journey will take her through Paris, Dracula's castle, and other dangerous places filled with supernatural enemies.
Konami and Evil Empire are developing the game, with Motion Twin providing advisory support. The project is part of Konami's 40th anniversary celebration for the Castlevania franchise.
With the demo arriving on October 1, players will be able to experience the beginning of Rose Belmont's story before deciding whether to go on the full adventure on launch day.
