Crytek announced with a little teaser.
Crytek finally announced the fourth installment of the Crysis franchise after 9 years since Crysis 3 launched. Crysis 4 is announced with a short teaser by publisher Crytek on its Twitter account.
The game is still early in development has confirmed by Crytek CEO Avni Yerli "in the early stages of development so it will be a while yet. We wanted to bring you the news at this time as we are so hyped for the future, and to let you know that we will be listening to our community."
In video shows what looks to be various materials and microscopic structures of a nano suit, before the number four appears on screen, and the tagline "Join the journey. become the hero."
The teaser was spotted before the official announcement of Crysis 4. As spotted by Eurogamer, an image appeared on the Chinese social media site BiliBili which appeared to be a reveal for Crysis 4. The post from Crytek China read: "The 'Crysis 4' project is confirmed, opening a new nano battlefield!"
Crysis is a first-person shooter video game series. The series revolves around a group of military protagonists with nano suits, technologically advanced suits of armor that give them enhanced physical strength, speed, defense, and cloaking abilities. The protagonists face off against hostile soldiers, heavily armed mercenaries, and a race of technologically advanced aliens known as the Ceph, who arrived on Earth millions of years ago and have recently been awakened.
There’s no information in Crytek’s teaser about the release date, platforms, or game details.
In a couple of years get ready for all three Crysis Remastered games and individual releases of Crysis 2 Remastered and Crysis 3 Remastered on PC, and next-gen console PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S/X.
