Gamescom 2026 is almost here, and the gaming community is gearing up for Gamescom Opening Night Live (ONL). Hosted by Geoff Keighley, the showcase will feature new trailers, gameplay footage, announcements, and surprise reveals ahead of the main Gamescom event in Cologne, Germany.
The show begins on August 25 at 8 p.m. CEST with a 30-minute pre-show. For Indian viewers, the main event begins at 11:30 p.m. (IST).

Games Confirmed for Gamescom Opening Night Live
Several major titles have already been announced for the showcase. The lineup also includes The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Songs of the Past, Final Fantasy 7 Revelation, Gears of War: E-Day, Ananta, Tides of Annihilation, Metro 2039, Game of Thrones: War for Westeros, and Warlock: Dungeons & Dragons.
However, the confirmed lineup may not tell the full story. Marvel's Wolverine, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, Control Resonant, and Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy could all make an appearance, though unconfirmed games should be treated as speculation until officially announced.
With major franchises already confirmed and plenty of room for surprise announcements, Gamescom Opening Night 2026 Live could deliver several of the gaming industry's most significant announcements before the show officially begins on August 26.
