Blizzard has announced Diablo 4 Season 3 named Season of the Construct, which promises an immersive experience for gamers with a flood of new content due to release on January 23, 2024. Using a live service design, the game intends to extend player involvement beyond the primary storyline with a seasonal structure that includes new narratives, additional content, interesting rewards, and novel gameplay elements.

Season of the Construct is set to begin on January 23 at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. GMT. It will include a thrilling storyline centred around The Loom, an ancient technology that has been corrupted and was created by Zoltun Kulle, the same Horadrim that created the Black Soulstone. Constructs have been released into Sanctuary as a result of the demonic control of The Loom, paving the way for an exciting seasonal adventure.

Malphas, a demonic servant of Diablo who has created his own horrible area lies hidden within The Loom. Malphas is the first stationary boss in Diablo 4, and he uses crafty traps to trick opponents into defeat. Malphas is also the brain behind corrupting the Constructs, elemental-powered opponents that players will face all season long as they compete for exclusive items designed specifically for Constructs.

In addition to a gripping storyline, players can investigate brand-new Dungeons called Vaults and participate in weekly leaderboards inside The Gauntlet during the Season of the Construct. With the help of their Seneschal Companion, Blizzard urges players to face the impending threat to Sanctuary by battling Constructs beneath Kehjistan's deserts and coming into dangerous traps.

A number of improvements to the quality of life have been made for Season 3, including more frequent Helltide events, improved movement controls for PC players using W-A-S-D, and an extra Stash Tab to help with inventory management.

On January 18 at 9 am PT / 12 pm ET / 5 pm GMT, Blizzard will host a developer live stream to give fans a closer look at Season 3. In the meantime, a teaser trailer for Diablo 4's first expansion, Vessel of Hatred, was unveiled in November during BlizzCon's opening ceremony. More information on the expansion which is scheduled to debut in late 2024 should become available next summer.
