Arrowhead Game Studios is taking Helldivers 2 to the next level with the upcoming premium Warbond, Exo Experts, which will be released on April 28. The latest content update focuses on mechanized warfare, providing players with heavily armed exosuits as well as a new selection of weapons, armor sets, and cosmetic upgrades.
New Exosuits in Helldivers 2 Warbond
For the first time, a Warbond in Helldivers 2 introduces multiple exosuits a major shift from the game usual monthly updates. The Exo Experts Warbond is meant to allow players to dominate the battlefield using mechanical firepower while remaining true to the game's chaotic, cooperative combat style.
Leading the charge is the EXO-51 Lumberer, a modernized version of a classic war machine from the first Galactic War. It is designed for destruction, with an anti-tank cannon for heavy targets and a flamethrower for quickly clearing out swarms of smaller enemies.
It is joined by the EXO-55 Breakthrough, a defensive powerhouse equipped with a flak cannon and a ballistic shield. This exosuit is designed for players who prefer to stand their ground, absorbing damage and delivering sustained fire against more powerful enemies.
The third addition, the MGX-42 Bullet Storm, takes a different approach. Rather than a traditional mech, it features a disposable multi-barrel machine gun system. Players can fire a barrage of caseless ammunition, discard the weapon once it's depleted, and quickly switch to another, keeping the action fast and aggressive.
New Weapons for Ground Combat
Even outside of exosuits, players will discover a wealth of new tools to experiment with. The SMG-203 Gallant has a high rate of fire and improved armor penetration, sacrificing magazine size for increased stopping power. It's a solid choice for players who value mobility and precision.
Meanwhile, the P-33 Missile Pistol brings a new twist to sidearms. With lock-on targeting and heat-seeking rounds, it provides a more tactical approach to combat. While not completely accurate, its guided shots can turn the tide in close encounters.
Armor Sets and Customization
Customization options in Exo Experts Warbond include new armor sets and capes. The O-2 Heavy Operator armor is designed for those who work with heavy machinery and includes the Oxygenator perk, which increases movement speed while walking, running, and sliding.

Another option, the O-3 Free Spirit armor, focuses on a more immersive piloting experience by improving the connection between the player and the exosuit.
To finish the look, players can add new capes like the Watchful Compatriot and Free Spirited Spangles as well as cosmetic rewards like the Exosuit Certified title and the Thumb of Approval emote.

This Warbond feels unique because it changes the way rewards work in the game. Instead of just adding new guns and cosmetics, Arrowhead has added full exosuits, making the progression system more exciting and meaningful for players.
The Exo Experts update, which includes powerful mechs, new weapons, and new customization options, appears to be one of the most significant additions to Helldivers 2 yet. It expands players' fighting options while also adding a new level of chaos and fun to the ongoing battle for the galaxy.
