Fans of the Persona franchise can now mark a release date on their calendars. During the recent Xbox Games Showcase, Atlus debuted a brand-new trailer for Persona 4 Revival and confirmed that the highly anticipated remake will be available worldwide on February 18, 2027.

The upcoming RPG will be available on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with Xbox players receiving an added benefit. Microsoft confirmed that Persona 4 Revival will be available through Xbox Game Pass on day one, allowing subscribers to begin their adventure as soon as it is released.

Atlus' P-Studio is developing Persona 4 Revival, which aims to modernize one of the most beloved entries in the long-running Persona series. According to the official description, the remake includes improved visuals, updated gameplay systems, a modernized presentation, and numerous quality-of-life enhancements aimed at making the experience more accessible to both newcomers and long-time fans.

The latest trailer showed off the rural town of Inaba in stunning detail, with redesigned environments, improved character models, and beautifully updated anime-style cutscenes. Several iconic moments from the original game were also included, giving fans a sense of the remake's visual transformation.

The new trailer revealed the return of Marie, a fan-favorite character from Persona 4 Golden, implying that Persona 4 Revival will include content from the expanded Golden version upon release. This is great news for fans because it could mean more story content, Social Links, and other features that were first introduced in Persona 4 Golden. Unlike Persona 3 Reload, which launched without some expansion content, Persona 4 Revival appears to offer a more comprehensive experience from the start.

Players who pre-order Persona 4 Revival before February 17, 2027 will receive the P3R and P5R Extra BGM Set as a bonus. This special pack allows players to hear music from Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Reload while playing Persona 4 Revival. Because the Persona series is well-known for its popular soundtrack, this bonus provides additional opportunities for fans to enjoy some of the franchise's most memorable music during their adventure.

The original Persona 4 was released on PlayStation 2 in 2008 and quickly became one of the most celebrated JRPGs of its time. Persona 4 Golden, an enhanced version, debuted on PlayStation Vita in 2012 before being released on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo platforms.

Persona 4 Revival released nearly two decades later will introduce a new generation of players to Inaba's mystery-filled adventure through a complete visual and gameplay overhaul. While the remake will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, Atlus has confirmed that no Nintendo Switch 2 version is currently in development.
