The PlayStation Wrap-Up and Xbox Year in Review have been officially launched, allowing gamers to reflect on and share their gaming favourites from 2023.
These annual wrap-up tools which are similar to popular features like Spotify Wrapped and Apple Music Replay show users with personalised statistics, summarising details such as the games they played and the duration of their gaming sessions, as well as the trophies they unlocked throughout the year.
Users can now see and share their digital cards displaying top gaming statistics through PlayStation Wrap-Up until January 12, 2024. In addition, users can redeem a one-of-a-kind avatar and a PlayStation Stars digital collectible featuring Marvel's Spider-Man Spider-Bot.
The Xbox Year in Review is available in select markets until January 31, 2024 for Xbox fans. In 2023, Microsoft announces outstanding data for the Xbox community, stating that players played 36,000 games, unlocked 4.5 billion milestones, and earned 91 billion Gamerscore.
These wrap-up tools not only provide gamers with a nostalgic trip down memory lane, but they also serve as shareable material across numerous social media platforms. These gaming summaries, similar to the custom of posting one's most-listened-to music on Spotify or Apple Music, have become a popular way for gamers to demonstrate their gaming skills and preferences.
