The director of the game, Mounir Radi, has said that Ubisoft Montpellier has great plans to improve the gameplay of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. Radi recently thanked everyone for the excellent response the game has gotten since its release last month in a video message that was posted on X.

Radi stated,

"Thank you for all the love. It means the world to us seeing you enjoy your time with the game just as much as we do, which is why I'm especially pleased to let you know that we are far from being done."

He continued by revealing some very exciting news for the months ahead, such as a number of free updates that will provide new features and modes for users to experiment with and enjoy. It was clear that the director was excited as he said,

"Our first free update is coming soon. In the meantime, I would recommend you train with Artaban. And maybe try to beat the game in Immortals mode. These skills could come in very handy."

Though the specifics of the planned features are yet not known, Ubisoft Montreal recently reported in November that Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake—which is also a part of the reboot of the franchise—had reached an important internal milestone signifying progress in its development.

Before to being taken over by Ubisoft Montreal, the company that created the first Sands of Time, the game experienced several delays. It was first developed at Ubisoft Pune and Ubisoft Mumbai, with an initial release date scheduled for January 2021. Radi told players that the first free update for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is coming soon, even if there are no set release dates yet. He advised them to play around with Artaban and take on the game's Immortal Mode difficulty as a means of getting ready.

The gaming community has responded to the announcement with great excitement, with players looking forward to the upcoming improvements. Fans are expressing their gratitude for the game's immersive experience and their general wish for more exciting adventures in the Prince of Persia realm through comments that are rolling in.
