Capcom has released a significant update for Resident Evil Requiem today, which includes the long-awaited Photo Mode as well as a few gameplay improvements and bug fixes. The update is now available on PC and all console platforms, and it is the first major post-launch update for the action-survival horror game.
The main one feature in this update is the new Photo Mode, which allows players to capture their favorite moments with complete creative freedom. You can use the pause menu to change camera angles, focus, blur, character poses and expressions, brightness, contrast, and special effects like vignette, bloom, and lens distortion. You can also personalize your photos with frames, stickers, and filters. Fans love how flexible it is, allowing them to create cinematic scenes that do not normally appear in the game.
Along with Photo Mode, Capcom has fixed several bugs and translation issues reported by the community. Additionally, certain character facial animations in cutscenes have been refined to better convey emotion, adding to the game's immersive storytelling experience. Capcom has not specified which cutscenes were updated, but players can expect smoother, more expressive interactions.
