Summer Game Fest 2023 finally unveiled the most highly anticipated video games of the season. Among the titles introduced were Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown,Mortal Kombat 1,Sonic Superstars and many others.
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown marks the long-awaited return of the franchise after a decade. Ubisoft showcased the game, which features side-scrolling action-adventure gameplay. The trailer highlighted the game's modern gameplay, abundant supernatural elements, and mythical monsters. Fans can expect the release of "Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown" on January 18, 2024.
Mortal Kombat 1
At Summer Game Fest, the all-new Mortal Kombat 1 made its debut as the opening entry in the Mortal Kombat world. Following Liu Kang's ascent to divine status in Mortal Kombat 11, this famous character has spawned a new universe populated by recognisable faces like Raiden, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Katana, and Jax. The Kameo feature is the most recent addition to the series, allowing players to select two characters from the roster and call the Kameo fighter to perform special strikes. Naturally, the series' trademark fatalities are present throughout the game.
Sonic Superstar
Sonic Superstar brings Sonic back with a conversion from 2D to 3D. The game offers a fresh gameplay experience, combining classic elements with updated mechanisms. Players can select Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, or Amy for racing through numerous stages. Additionally, the game features four-player co-op multiplayer, allowing friends to complete stages together. New abilities, like a grapple hook, have also been introduced.
Marvel Spider-Man 2
The highly anticipated Marvel Spider-Man 2 showcased both iconic versions of the hero, Miles Morales and Peter Parker. The game finally revealed its release date, scheduled for October 20, 2023, exclusively on PlayStation 5.
Alan Wake II
Alan Wake II is Remedy's first foray into the survival-horror genre. The gameplay presented during Summer Game Fest is similar to the Resident Evil series' mechanics. Saga Anderson, a new character, is shown exploring an abandoned general store when she encounters a strange monster wearing a deer mask.

Lies of P is an upcoming Soulsborne-style game that follows Pinocchio on his trip through Krat's plague-ridden metropolis. The video showed off horrific foes, the game's umbrella-parry system, and even a whale submarine.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is the second installment of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy. The game, which takes place shortly after the group leaves Midgar, lets players to travel the world map and see classic locales from the original game, like Kalm, Junon, and Cosmo Canyon. The release date is set for early 2024.

Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name is a spin-off title developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, the creators of the Like a Dragon/Yakuza series. Taking place between Yakuza 6 and Yakuza 8, the game follows Kiryu hiding under the codename Joryu at Daidoji Temple.
