Ubisoft is bringing its popular Assassin's Creed franchise to live theatre with a new production titled Assassin's Creed: Heredis.
The show is a large-scale stage performance combining storytelling, dance, acrobatics, and urban parkour. It was created with the performance group Les 7 Doigts and is billed as a "spectacular live experience."
Original Story in the Assassin's Creed Universe
Unlike the previous games Heredis tells a completely new story. It follows a young man's search for his missing father. On his 25th birthday, he receives a mysterious letter that leads him into the HEREDIS program, which takes him through various time periods.

Ubisoft says the show will contain small references for fans, but no prior knowledge of the games is required to enjoy it.
A Mix of Circus Arts and Action
The production combines acrobatics, aerial stunts, parkour-style movement, choreographed fights, and immersive stage design. It aims to provide a fast-paced, cinematic live experience.
The project is being developed in collaboration with Les 7 Doigts, a performance company based in Montreal that combines circus arts and theatre.
Release and Tour Plans
Assassin's Creed: Heredis will premiere on December 3, 2026, at Montreal's Théâtre Maisonneuve. It will then travel to the Casino de Paris on January 21, 2027, as part of its international tour.
New Direction for Ubisoft
For Ubisoft, the show is another step toward expanding its games into other media, such as film and live performance. The company says it wants to bring its worlds to a broader audience than just gamers.
Heredis is shaping up to be a one-of-a-kind new way to experience the Assassin's Creed universe, mixing action, theatre, and storytelling.
