Looks like there's a new Life Is Strange game on the horizon, and it leaked before the official announcement, thanks to the European ratings board, PEGI. The listing, which has since been pulled, mentioned that the next game in the series is called Life Is Strange: Reunion and is set to hit the PlayStation 5, with Square Enix as the publisher.
The PEGI description gives us a sneak peek into the storyline, hinting at a big emotional reunion between fan favorites Max Caulfield and Chloe Price. It says Max is still dealing with the loss of Chloe, which she considers her biggest regret, until Chloe shows up unexpectedly at Caledon University.
But their reunion isn't exactly smooth. The listing notes that Max is going through a personal crisis, and there's a massive disaster on the horizon: in three days, a deadly fire is set to destroy the university campus. Chloe, who's been having nightmares and dealing with fragmented memories, reaches out to Max for help as they face their shared past once more.
Life Is Strange Mature Themes and Story Recaps Detailed in the Rating
PEGI's rating highlights a few mature themes in Life Is Strange: Reunion. You'll find drug mentions, strong language, and some implied violence. There's even a scene where your character unknowingly gets drugged at a party after sipping some wine, which leads to hallucinations.

The game also goes over stuff from earlier entries, touching on intense moments like a character getting shot and scenes with fire and people stuck in a burning building. Expect some strong language along with milder cursing, too.
Deck Nine’s Next Step After Fan Backlash
Even though Square Enix hasn't officially announced Reunion, it seems to fit with the buzz that Deck Nine Games—the folks behind Life Is Strange: True Colors, Double Exposure, and The Expanse: A Telltale Series—are working on another sequel.
Deck Nine’s latest game, Life Is Strange: Double Exposure, got some flak from long-time fans, especially about how it handled Max and Chloe’s relationship. The game confirmed Chloe made it through the original story's events, but her absence and the news that they broke up didn't sit well with the community.
Last year's leaks from the studio pointed to some internal development issues, but they also hinted at a future game that would bring Chloe back properly. If you go by PEGI’s leaked listing, Life Is Strange: Reunion might just be that game.
Official Reveal Expected Soon
Now that PEGI's listing is gone, fans are waiting for Square Enix to officially announce Life Is Strange: Reunion soon. If it's true, this game might be a big turning point for the series and a chance to win back fans who love Max and Chloe's story.
At the moment, Square Enix and Deck Nine haven't said anything yet, but everything seems to suggest that Life Is Strange: Reunion is happening—and it might even come out sooner than we think.
