Warner Bros. is hoping to build on this victory by releasing Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions soon. The game was first announced in April. Currently in beta testing, Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is described as a "fast-paced, competitive multiplayer game featuring the most iconic magical sport in the world." The game is intended for both PC and consoles, while the exact release date is still pending confirmation. Haddad told fans that work is in progress on the design, with an eye on creating an enjoyable and engaging experience.

Leaked video from last summer has increased passion as Quidditch Champions approaches by showcasing some of the game's possible features. In addition to creating their own character, players can choose to assume the roles of well-known characters including Cho Chang, Ron Weasley, Draco Malfoy, and Harry Potter.

The rumour that a new Lego Harry Potter game teaser briefly appeared on Instagram last year, suggesting more innovation and growth inside the Wizarding World gaming realm, is said to have contributed to the interest.
