BAFTA Expands Its 2026 Games in Concert Tour, Adds New Titles and Special Guest Performances

BAFTA has announced new city dates and games for its 2026 BAFTA Games in Concert tour, which will celebrate 20 years of award-winning video game music.
The concert series, led by celebrated composer and conductor Austin Wintory and performed by the BBC Concert Orchestra, aims to highlight some of the most iconic compositions ever nominated for the BAFTA Games Awards.
BAFTA Newly Announced Game Scores Enter the Line-up
Along with previously confirmed games including Baldur's Gate 3, Journey, Assassin's Creed, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, and Cuphead, organizers have announced a fascinating new roster of fan-favorite soundtracks.
New additions include:
Helldivers 2
Fallout 4
Returnal
Disco Elysium (with a special live performance by Sea Power, winners of the 2020 BAFTA for Best Music)
Ori and the Will of the Wisps
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
Far Cry 4
Virginia
Each featured title will have specially prepared orchestral suites created in partnership with the original composers, something BAFTA claims is unique to this tour.
VIP Experience Announced for London Premiere
Fans attending the London premiere in January will be able to purchase VIP Meet & Greet passes, allowing them to meet Austin Wintory, Jesper Kyd, and Borislav Slavov after the show. Booking information is accessible on the official concert portal.
Full 2026 UK Tour Schedule
BAFTA confirmed a six-city UK tour set for May and June 2026. The updated schedule includes:

• 23 – The Glasshouse, Gateshead
• 31 – Beacon, Bristol
June
• 4 – Usher Hall, Edinburgh
• 5 – Royal Concert Hall, Glasgow
• 6 – Symphony Hall, Birmingham
• 7 – Aviva Studios, Manchester
Tickets for the London debut are already on sale, with regional venues set to open their box offices soon.
BAFTA: “A Landmark Celebration of Game Music”
BAFTA CEO Jane Millichip described the concert series as a way to acknowledge the powerful emotional impact of gaming soundtracks.
“Games scores capture the hearts and imaginations of millions. This concert, and the international tour that follows, extend the celebration of the BAFTA Games Awards and bring together fans, composers, and the wider industry in a beautifully immersive musical experience,” Millichip said.
A Major Year for Video Game Music Events
The BAFTA Games in Concert tour joins a growing list of symphonic gaming showcases in the UK. In June 2026, London will also host the Game Music Festival, which will feature performances inspired by Diablo, Hades, Persona, and other games at Fairfield Halls and the Southbank Centre.
The BAFTA Games Awards 2026 are set to take place in April, and they will be a highlight of what promises to be a turning point in the appreciation of video game music.
