Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will have a dedicated Game Premiere event on June 8 at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Hosted by industry legend Geoff Keighley, the event will feature legendary game creator Hideo Kojima and give fans a first look at the upcoming PS5-exclusive title.

Unlike Kojima's appearance on June 6th at the main Summer Game Fest showcase, this separate event focuses entirely on Death Stranding 2. The evening will feature a live gameplay demonstration, a panel discussion with Kojima and surprise guests, and an in-depth look at the game's development and narrative themes.
Those who want to attend in person can sign up now for a chance to get one of the limited seats at the venue. For the rest of the world, the event will be broadcast live on the official PlayStation YouTube channel at:
7 PM PT
10 PM ET
3 AM BST (June 9)
The Start of the World Strand Tour
The June 8 event also serves as the kickoff for the Death Stranding 2 'World Strand Tour,' a 12-city global celebration that will last until November. From Los Angeles to Lucca, Italy, the tour will stop at:
Sydney
Tokyo
Paris
London
Seoul
Taipei
Hong Kong
Shanghai
Riyadh
São Paulo
Each city promises "special guests and events," but the format and guest list for each location are kept under wraps. It is unclear whether Kojima will make an appearance at each stop, but his presence at the LA premiere has been confirmed.
About Death Stranding 2: On the Beach
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, which will be released on June 26th for PlayStation 5, expands on the first game's mechanics, introduces new characters, and tells a story that Kojima has hinted could last over 70 hours. While no post-launch DLC is currently planned, Kojima has hinted at the possibility of surprise content that "didn't exist at all in the first game," as well as ongoing support in the form of bug fixes and improvements.
With the Game Premiere and global tour, Death Stranding 2 looks set to be more than just a game—it's a cultural moment. Do not miss it.
